The basic storyline was good (although it features the secret baby plot which many romance readers find overused or just plain don't like). The problem was more in the editing. I have read other Desert Breeze books which were much better edited, so don't really understand this. Problems included changing points-of-view within a paragraph, proofreading (e.g. sentences that were questions without a question mark at the end), and pacing (the whole story was very fast-paced with lots of lust and sexual tension, and no real calming moments to break the tension).
